P = NP ?

Sunday 17 February 2008

EKOZ is based on a revolutionary approach to data handling and processing that was found by a computer scientist. This scientist has developed a set of tools to address a large range of problems with this approach, hence getting closer to the P = NP? legendary problem.

Most complexity theorists believe that P? NP. Perhaps this can be partly explained by the potentially stunning consequences of P = NP.

For a correct solution of the “P versus NP” question, the Clay Mathematics Institute will award a prize of $1.000.000.

EKOZ did not prove yet that P = NP. But we clearly obtain some extraordinary results on NP difficult problems like the N-SAT problem or the computation of a join.

EKOZ develops a universal computing technology that is insensitive to volume and to combinatory, rooted in the revolutionary mathematical model designed by its founder. Based on a genuine representation of information, EKOZ’s technology is offered as a library of computing and data management functions. This new technology is bound to become a software platform for most of existing technologies and will foster quantum leaps in information technology, research and industry.

What is Ekoz?

Sunday 10 February 2008

EKOZ develops a universal computing technology that is insensitive to the volume and to the combinative complexity, rooted in the revolutionary mathematical model conceived by its founder Ouzi Koskas.

Based on a revolutionary representation of data, EKOZ technology is offered as a library of computing and data management functions. By reducing the Cartesian product of tables to a mere sum, it enables machines with a modest processing power, to operate on very large volumes of data and to find in a split second – and without any prior tuning – solutions that so far, required minutes, or even hours of very powerful and expensive resources. Furthermore, EKOZ’ technology makes it possible to find the answers to complex problems that so far, were considered impossible to solve in polynomial time.

This new environment is bound to become a universal development platform and will prompt quantum leaps in the evolution of information technology, as well as in the scientific research and in the industry.
